Shodhganga Thesis Submission Guidelines

Ph.D. Thesis Submission Guidelines (Soft Copy) updated on 11.04.2025

All Research Scholars are required to submit the soft copy of their thesis (in PDF) strictly adhering to the following file naming conventions and file splitting. Submissions that do not follow the specified format will not be accepted.

01_title (first page of thesis)

File 2

02_prelim pages (This file should include: Declaration, dedication, certificates, acknowledgement, list of tables, list of graphs, list of abbreviations, list of figures, etc.)

File 3

03_content (table of contents pages)

File 4

04_abstract (abstract page)

File 5

05_chapter 1

File 6

06_chapter 2

File 7

07_chapter 3

File 8

08_chapter 4

File 9

09_chapter 5 (Continue the sequence if more chapters are included in your thesis)

File 10

10_annexures (Include references, bibliography, questionnaires, maps, publications etc.)

File 11

80_Recommendation (Title page & final chapter: Which includes recommendation, conclusion, future findings etc.) Download sample file

90_Plagiarism_Report (One-page summary) Download sample file

Full_thesis (Complete thesis as searchable PDF)

Note: Please ensure that scanned certificates, declarations, and other documents do not display any scanner brand names on any page. Failure to comply may result in the thesis not being uploaded to Shodhganga.
